À PROPOS DU MANIFESTE POUR LA RÉCUPÉRATION DES BIENS COMMUNS

La présentation du Manifeste pour la Récupération des Biens Communs à l’occasion du FSM 2009 à Belém au Brésil, marque le point de départ d’une campagne de mobilisation pour la préservation, la reconquête et la création des Biens Communs.
Le but de cette campagne est de populariser la notion de Biens Communs en ouvrant un espace participatif de réflexion et de partage de toutes les initiatives concernant le futur des Biens Communs.
Le manifeste est un point de départ. Chacun et chacune est cordialement invité à le commenter, à en faire la critique, et aussi à partager ses visions, ses idées et ses pratiques des biens communs. Il va sans dire que le Manifeste s’inspire et se relie avec de nombreux textes qui l’ont précédé depuis parfois de nombreuses années.
Nous invitons chacune et chacun à signer le manifeste, à mettre en débat les idées qu’il présente et les faire circuler.
Les initiatives et les pratiques en rapport avec les biens communs sont nombreuses et très variées. Paysans, éducateurs, malades, techniciens, activistes, scientifiques, artistes, parents, …etc, tous luttent pour les biens communs avec beaucoup d’imagination et de créativité.
Notre campagne a pour objectif d’engranger toutes ces initiatives, de démultiplier leur impact en permettant aux personnes qui s’y investissent de se relier les unes aux autres à la fois sur Internet et dans la vie réelle. Nous souhaitons faciliter la naissance de nouvelles idées, de nouvelles mobilisations sous les formes les plus libres, créatives, et variées possibles.
Nous invitons chacune et chacun à faire connaitre ses initiatives pour les Biens Communs sur le site Internet http://bienscommuns.org, à profiter de toutes les opportunités pour promouvoir ces idées et cette campagne, à inviter ses amis et collègues à signer le manifeste, et à mobiliser de nouvelles personnes et organisations afin que les biens communs soit à l’ordre du jour du mouvement social.

This website is dedicated to the collection of signatures for the “Reclaim the Commons” global call, launched at the World Social Forum held in Belém do Pará (Brazil) in January, 2009.
The presentation of the “Reclaim the Commons” manifesto, on the occasion of the Belém WSF 2009, was the starting point of an international mobilization campaign to reclaim, protect and re-create the commons.
The purpose of this campaign is to popularize the notion of Commons by opening a participatory space which allows us to share and discuss ideas and initiatives concerning the future of the commons.
The Manifesto is just a starting point. Everybody is invited to critically comment on it and to share his/her visions, ideas and commons-related practices. It goes without saying, that the Manifesto (closely) refers to numerous texts and ideas that have been produced during the last few years.
We cordially invite everybody to sign the Manifesto, to discuss it and to spread the word.
The initiatives and practices concerning the various aspects of the Commons are numerous and of prodigious diversity. Farmers, educators, patients, technicians, activists, scientists, artists, parents, etc., they all fight daily for the Commons, with imagination and creativity.
The objective of this campaign is to bring those initiatives together, to multiply their impacts, by creating new ties among the commoners worldwide, both in cyberspace and in person. Our hope is to facilitate the genesis of new ideas and mobilizations – as free, creative, and diverse as possible.
